Catholic Schools Week 2006

This year's theme for Catholic Schools Week is: Character, Compassion, Values.  The theme truly depicts the values Catholic Schools try to instill in their students and teachers.

St. Stan's will start celebrating this special week with an all school Family Mass at 10:00am on Sunday, January 29.  Breakfast will be served at our school cafeteria afterwards.  Also, come visit our "Camp St. Stan's" Book Fair in the School lobby.  Select from a huge selection of Scholastic Books.  Children are welcome to sit in our "reading tents" and read a book.

On Monday, January 30, we celebrate our families with Family Fun Night at 7:00pm.  Our wonderful teachers have been helping our students plan special performances for the evening.  Food will also be served. 

On Tuesday, January 31 is Student's Day.  Special awards will be handed and our students will have fun playing teacher for the day!           

Wednesday, February 1st we will celebrate Catholic Heritage Day with special Alumni speakers and our Freedom Tea.

Thursday, February 2nd is Volunteer Appreciation Day.  What would we do without our wonderful volunteers?  Special certificates will be handed out.

And to top off the celebrations for the week on Friday, February 3rd we will honor our hard-working teachers with a special luncheon and other surprises from our students.
